Based in Toronto, raised in Hong Kong, MM.S is a design studio co-founded by Ocean and Alvis. We make work across different formats, scales, and levels of seriousness. From brand systems and campaigns to printed matter, visual experiments, and things that started too casually to become official but did anyway.
Ocean Cheung
After graduating from Advertising Design at PolyU School of Design, Ocean stayed close to the part of design before design: the name, the logic, the sentence, the system, and the reason something should exist in the first place. He usually begins by pulling things apart, then putting them back into a form that can actually hold together.

Graduated in Business and Marketing from HKUST, Alvis came to design through branding, with context carrying as much weight as the visual itself. He draws from fashion, music, publishing and the incidental details people tend to overlook, using them to uncover less obvious connections and shape visual directions specific to the subject.
