The ask
As the rental market grows increasingly complex, arising from rental agreements have become more frequent and problematic. Homie addresses these challenges by integrating all aspects of the rental journey into a single, user-friendly platform. This one-stop app not only stores and summarizes rental agreements but also simplifies complex renting concepts into easily understandable information, fostering better communication between landlords and tenants.
My role has been to built Homie's visibility and appeal, ensuring it speaks directly to both landlords and tenants who are often embroiled in frustrating exchanges over their rental situations. By developing Homie’s brand and digital presence, we aim to make the app not only a tool for managing rentals but also a mediator that can reduce the emotional and administrative burden of renting.
The approach has been to shift the focus from mere functionality to user empowerment. Every feature designed for Homie aims to enhance user understanding and engagement, transforming every interaction with the app into an opportunity for tenants and landlords to feel confident and at ease, ultimately fostering a more positive rental experience for all parties involved.
